Everything we do as a business cascades down from the business aspiration to develop the best people in a safety first, stable working environment, upholding the key principles of innovation, supreme quality and exceptional customer service.
Comprehensive knowledge of our client's requirements intertwined with a finger on the pulse approach to where contracts are internally, forms the basis of our approach to Contract Management. This approach lends itself well to front end commercial support during FEED and subsequent stages, helping to generate the strongest of customer relationships.
Interaction with other departments remains imperative too, our Engineering departments Document Control set up, provides critical support to the successful running of any contract. Our internally developed data base for the submission and receipt of all submittals documents, accurately records the status of any document, at any time.
Our methodologies aim to uncover the unique, new and evolving requirements for each project; we then plan for them accordingly. Through our experience, we've gained an understanding of the common challenges which our different clients face. If, as is so often the case a single point contact is our client preference, then that's what we'll do. If however, Inspectors wish to talk to Inspectors and Designers to Designers then we can facilitate that too. The objective is to meet our group's aspiration of providing exceptional customer service.
With full time project design engineers and a network of design and consulting engineers to call upon, we can undertake design and draughting work for virtually any pressurised vessels system. Specialist design services include finite element analysis, structural analysis, assesment of compliance to all the major international codes, thermal cyclical analysis, nozzle loads and so on.
PV Elite provides us with a complete solution for vessel design, analysis and evaluation, allowing the design of equipment for the most extreme uses. It allows accurate definition of pressure boundary conditions for vessels. The graphical representation of analysis models helps ensure confidence in the input and results. Calculations can be performed in accordance with ASME Section VIII Divisions 1 & 2, PD 5500 and EN 13445. Other international codes are also catered for.
SolidWorks delivers robust 3D drawing and design capabilities, allowing us to create parametric parts, assemblies, and production level drawings. It provides all the tools necessary to generate complex surfaces, sheet metal flat patterns, and structural weldments. AutoCAD is also used for 2D requirements and where this file type is a customer preference.
We have developed our own in-house database for the submission and receipt of all submittals documents, accurately recording the status of any document at any time.
With dedicated workplace for carbon steel and stainless/alloy fabrication and modern equipment, we deliver the highest quality vessels and related products. The workhorse tools of the trade include rotators, positioners, plasma cutters, guillotine, bevellers, roll former, gantry cranes, test and measuring equipment.
We have a limited machine tool capability including centre lathe, radial arm drill, pillar drills and our hydraulic metal worker. In addition we regularly call upon our sister company's extensive and modern machine tool capability.
Our sister company's machine shop has CNC Machining Centres capable of a variety of cycles from the mass production of small diameter non ferrous components to the low volume production of large diameter, thick flanges and forgings in ferrous and reactive metals. Standing alongside such machines there are modified machining centres for fast precision edge prepping of plates with vertical and horizontal borers for producing large diameter girth flanges and penny ends.
Welding and fabricating form the core manufacturing activities of pressure vessel and column production. We have a large selection of welding machines and regularly utilise TIG, SMA, MIG processes. We have a library of welding procedures and qualifications for all the above processes in a wide variety of metals and alloys. Single processes and combination processes are utilised throughout the business on a daily basis.
Our inspectors are either qualified to ASNT Level 1 or 2(PCN on request) in the following scopes:
LIQUID PENETRATION TETING (LPI) - ASNT
Dye penetrants, Fluorescent penetrants & NDT instruction writing
RADIOGRAPHIC INTERPRETATION (RI) - ASNT
X-rays, Gamma rays, Light meatls, Dense metals & Weld inspection
MAGNETIC PARTICLE INSPECTION (MPI) - ASNT
Fluoroscent and coloured inks, report generation and instruction writing
VISUAL INSPECTION - ASNT
Welding Quality Control Co-ordinator, Welding Inspector Level 2 & Senior Welding Inspector Level 3
ULTRASONIC TESTING (U/T)
Ultrasonic testing of welds, nozzles, forgings and thickness checks
In process inspection takes the highest of priority at Devine. Inspecting every detail enables us to provide products and services above the accepted standard. And, with our own internal fully qualified Inspectors, we can perform code based NDE with the minimum of fuss.
